Streedagh Beach

25th May 2018

On four wheels we raced after an elusive sun, but our star could not wait and drowned its last glow in the ocean’s waves.

Instead, the silver remnants of day, fallen into pools awaiting moon’s illumination.

A landscape of trapped seas, with captured rocks, surrounded by ribbed sands sculpted by tidal dances.

Alone, we moved, like feint shadows, clothed in the death of day at the birth of night, serenaded by the ocean’s song, a dark lullaby.
