3)Plant health
A morning workshop learning how to look after your plants. Learn how to reduce pest and diseases and the options for dealing with them when they do occur including organic controls.

4)Introduction to Gardening - are you new to gardening?
5 mornings 2.5 hours each class 10 am – 12.30 pm
Join Aoife Munn for 5 mornings and learn all you need to know to get you started from seed sowing to dealing with pests as well as a guide to some great plants for your garden. You will take home seedlings and cuttings that you can use in your own garden, meet other gardeners and learn the basics so that you can grow your garden

5 ) Environmentally Friendly Gardens
-a one day workshop on how to create a garden for wildlife, to reduce pollution and prevent flooding. These days gardens should not only look good but also bring as many benefits as possible to our lives. Creating environmentally friendly gardens is easy, affordable and rewarding.

6)Grow your Own Veg –three mornings
3 workshops to get you growing the best vegetables for your patch. This includes how to choose the right seeds, crop rotation, dealing with garden pests and diseases and maximising the use of space in your garden. Join us one evening a month over the summer and learn how to grow vegetables without using pesticides.

7) Introduction to garden design –
Come for a one-day workshop on how to design your ideal garden. This will include a step by step guide on planning, setting out and planting up your garden. Notes will be provided.

Who is eligible?
Anyone over 16 years of age who has an interest in gardening can attend the courses.
CLASSES
Classes are held in the walled garden and at Laurelmere in MARLAY PARK, RATHFARNHAM, DUBLIN 16.
We make learning easier!
The emphasis is on hands-on learning, whether it is plant science or pruning. We make a special effort to bring the subject to life with practical demonstrations and workshops.
