Ardmeen 26th May 2018

A mind in dark cloud, thoughts too many, too loud
serenity found in a line of liquid gold, a dark arc of pebble
ancient creatures eternally trapped in stone
while white surf is swallowed in shallows before the shore.

In a crevice of erosion, a golden mollusc hides from my gaze
retreating to it’s calcified abode
the air moves my cloud, while evolving sky makes my mind empty
the silver reflection brings a silence, for a time.
