Ballyheigue, Beach

24th August 2017

A crack in the darkness laid silver on to the bay.

Seaweed debris told the tale of a battlefield, the ocean victorious, remains laid bare, dumped by the waves, suffering the ignominy, deposited without care.

But the tide will have pity, the ocean will return, to wash away their shame, bringing them home.
