vision disappears behind
now all I see is red in dark
Sunlight burning through
skin and flesh, boiling blood
the green spots dance
Relentless movement with
stripes of light energy
reflection of grey matters
Leaves clattering in motion
constant slavery to the currents
of air under the endless blue
Bird calls, listen to the songs
celebrate the solitude of peace
lazy dog shakes his ears
I lie, surrounding sounds
of tropical paradise
my flight of escape
while a heaven surrounds me
I seek haven from my reality
the light burns too bright
