conductor of current alternating
power along the slack dark lines
strung out from the metal matrix
A tower of modern archictecture
distributor of instant energy
unleashed by a finger putting
pressure on a plastic switch
In the quiet of the morning
attracted by the magnetic field of
the constant hum of distribution
I listen to it’s voltage powered song
The fence to protect and prevent
the spikes to discourage and repel
yellow sign announces danger, beware!
earthed, brambles unaware, pay no heed.
