Ten thousand feet
that carry rage
free expression
on the first of June
of all lives that matter
and not just ours but theirs
black and white
we are free to breathe.
Divisible plagues
of discrimination
viral anger
across the ocean
up the road in Mosney
direct provision of prejudice
it also matters
but just not quite as much.
Between the colours
shades of grey
right to protest
to express our outrage
responsibility ours
balance of the scale
virus spreads to all
lives that matter or not.
