Tráigh na Croise
2nd November 2017
The ocean chases the horizon
fading to darkest grey,
a white crest waves farewell.
Flattened rocks beneath dark seaweed cloths mourn the sea that went away.
Left behind, an image of the sky and tree prints made in sand.
beached by the wind sailors left to die with lost feathers, clawing to life with broken crabs.
