Waves, from the horizon they come
infused with deaths of sunsets
the births of days, carrying the beginnings
of our being in depths of existence
World between the continents
the communal flow of life and death
the bearer of life, harvester of souls
flesh to feed the unknowns, fear fulfilling hope
Waves, we ride them searching for reason
in their constant motion of tidal time
energy crashing against our shores
eroding and building, changing our form.
